Brittany is a graduate of the veterinary technology program at Hinds Community College. She is our Head-Technician and senior staff member having been with us for over 4 years now; she helps maintain the work-flow, oversees all technical staff, is responsible for staff scheduling, ordering supplies and products, works directly with Dr. Watson on all his cases and helps with other practice management tasks. She's always smiling, never afraid to get her hands dirty, and always finds a way to get things done. Brittany plays an important role at Brandon Vet Clinic, but Brit is more than just a CVT; she is a caring wife to her husband, Allen Thomas, a wonderful mother to their human baby, Wyatt, who recently celebrated his first birthday and an excellent care-giver to her own fur-babies that she dearly loves. Brittany is a vital asset to BVC and we can't say enough how much we appreciate her excellent work. (pic credit to Sarah Watson of S.E.Watson.Photography)

She has specialized skills with Avimark, our practice management software, has certification in Care Credit, and uses her talents to help our client’s feel welcome and accommodated during visits. Allie answers many common questions on the phone every day, and if she doesn’t know for sure, she’ll be sure to ask one of our doctors to get the right answers for our clients. She's an excellent team member but she is more than just that, Allie is a great mother to her beautiful girls and a wonderful wife to her husband Mason. She loves her own fur-babies as well as she does our patients. (pic credit to Sarah Watson of S.E.Watson.Photography)

Regan Smith - Veterinary Technician / Assistant

Regan has been with BVC for over 3 years now and has gained a tremendous amount of knowledge and skill as a senior veterinary assistant. Regan’s on-the-job training gives her the ability to fill in for our Veterinary Technicians when called upon and she does quite well at most anything we ask her to do, including grooming. Every veterinary clinic needs a star assistant like Regan; versatile and willing to do whatever is needed to help her patients in their time of need. Regan just loves animals! When she's not loving on your pet, she can be found helping out around the clinic with all sorts of tasks. She never backs down from any job and all the animals just love her! Whether grooming your pet or assisting around the clinic, you're gonna get compassionate care from Regan.Rest assured, Regan will love on your fur-baby just as she loves on her own at home; kitties, puppies, or whatever it is as long as it’s fluffy, furry or has four legs. Regan traveled with Dr. Watson to Haiti in 2017 for a Veterinary medical mission trip and helped administer vaccines, dewormer, and assisted with surgery on various species, helping many animals stay healthy in a very poor country, ravaged by natural disasters. Regan is one of the most compassionate people you’ll meet; our clients love her and so does Nick, her fiancé. Regan and Nick Tanksley were recently engaged to be married. Whatever it is, from Grooming to cleaning kennels, from administering vaccines to assisting in surgery, Regan does it well! (pic credit to Sarah Watson of S.E.Watson.Photography)
